About Ed

I’m Ed and if you’ve been following my personal blog then I’m sure you already know what I’m all about. If not, then…uh…welcome!

I love all things food. I love cooking it, I love photographing it and of course, eating it. In my travels, I’ve eaten all sorts of food from all over the world. Some I liked, some I loved and some of it even tried to kill me! Yes, I have very few boundaries when it comes to food and I’ll usually try anything at least once. If you’ve met me at one of the local foodie gatherings or meet-ups, then you’ll probably know that I would so eat a penguin or a giraffe or something if I had the chance. Heck, bring me the ones from Happy Feet! I only really have two rules about what I won’t eat: nothing that’s already been…digested…if you know what I mean (so no ridiculously expensive monkey poop coffee for me) and nothing any animal uses to make babies. Other than that…anything goes. Bring on the roasted scorpions on a stick!

So stick around and you’ll find all sorts of restaurant reviews from Vancouver, food pictures and stories from traveling and maybe some recipes…although I’m terrible at measuring or recording what I cook. Stay tuned!

Hi Ed,

A few years ago i was introduced to a place called Au Petit Cafe at 4851 Main St. Not sure if you’ve been before but the food is amazing. They have Viet subs that are to die for you just have to get their early enough so they arent sold out. The beef stew is amazing as well. I know you wont be disappointed.

Hi Ed:
Good job with this new blog. Looking forward to many new posts. Anyway, did you know that there is another edeats.blogspot.com site. I went to that site when I googled you before I realized it was not yours. We should do lunch/dinner sometime again.
